Stephany Nickel
Stephany Nickel paints in opaque watercolor. Her style is impressionistic and mysterious; achieved with simplicity of shapes and accent of color. Here most recent series of work focuses on "Human Experience".
Stephany's work has been featured in multiple galleries throughout California. In addition, the international publication "Palatte Magazine" published her paintings in an art instruction article, and will again use her work in an upcoming 2008 issue.
She has a DVD entitled "Beginning Watercolor: A Different Approach", and has won many awards for her art, including the following state-wide competitions:

Stefany has judged many state-wide art competitions. Much of her work is hanging in private collections throughout the U.S., Europe and Japan.
Stefany earned a B.A. in art from San Jose State University, with further study at local colleges. She has attended workshops/classes with such notables as Sergei Bongart, William Reese, Chris Rex, Don Andrews, Skip Lawrence, Alex Powers, Christopher Schink, Katherine Liu, Fran Larsen, Anita Wolff and Glenn Bradshaw.
